Global village of creativity for a week Superstudio Più transformed
even its fashion showrooms and more into locations at the design
audience's disposal. It was enough to go upstairs to reach the special
spaces. Like Elle Decor Cafè, refined restaurant organized inside the spaces usually hosting Twin set. Or rather the Design Theatre by Alberto Del Biondi,
which turned into a marvellous relax area where in a mix of soft music,
projections of nature and evocative sentences, skilled masseurs offered
a break to visitors. And also the Roof, unrecognizable in its new
eco-techno-green aspect, where DDN/Zona 7
presented an observation platform. Complitely revolutioned was also La
Perla showroom with a wonderful installation by the architect Silvio De
Ponte, who in collaboration with De Ponte Studio|DPSA+D
put up on 500 sq. m. a combination of shapes, surfaces and colours
which created a cityscape with ergonomic and modular sofas, water
scenes, vertical meadows, lighting installations and surreal seats
which grafted scenographic La Perla corsages on design chairs. Other
surprises inside Gas showroom,
which celebrated its 25 years with a video and a set that tell the
experience of fifteen creative artists who interpret the brand for 25
days.

A cloud of objects and statements, such as Black cherries, Sugar cubes and Modest thoughts that blow up excuses for the socially acceptable status quo with the sincerity of the designer Nika Zupanc. Project supported by Qbiss by trimo.
Paola Navone, with her visionary creativity, has arrived and occupied the first hall of the Temporary Museum. "The inspiration of the BLU installation comes from the desire of displaying the magic of glass in the shade which most pertains to me. Every project is the result of an encounter. This walk between light and matter comes from an encounter with Murano's oldest glass shop," explains the designer. The visit begins by diving into the wonderful - dismantled, interpreted, tainted, recreated - world of Barovier&Toso, always worked on the blue motif, the designer’s fetish-color. Elements of glass chandeliers, African gris-gris, bricolage, wood floor boards, new luminous bodies follow each other in an emotional labyrinth. Finishing with the first toy table lamp, created in 1927 for Angelo Barovier by his own father.
The initiative "Piatto del Cuore" is organized by the City Council of Milan. From 2008 to 2015, every year there will be a collector's plate created by top- designers: now it’s Alessandro Mendini’s turn, up to the complete series which will end with Fabio Novembre and the Expo. The “Piatto del Cuore†can be found in forty renowned restaurants, among which Ristorante Teatro alla Scala il Marchesino, Peck, Sadler and Zucca, and they are part of a series of initiatives aimed at helping the elderly.
Fernando and Humberto Campana, Brazilian top- designers, come loaded with their sensational imagination and set up at Temporary Museum two different, although equally amazing, projects; a material installation for Cosentino and a fairy-tale gazebo for Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. Which is the projects' concept? "The Cosentino stand explores the idea of creating volume and consistency by accumulating material. Like sedimentary rocks, the Eco layers, produced by Cosentino, overlap one on the other creating a sculptural space. The gazebo in the colors of Veuve Clicquot “La Gloriette" refers to an ethereal aspect, where floating lines are frozen in the air creating a dreamy roof supported by apuà vine columns. The Campana brothers will meet with guests and journalists during a party scheduled on April 14th at 5 pm.
