MARIA CRISTINA CARLINI. PURPOSES OF PLACE
“Maria Cristina Carlini. Le ragioni del luogo/Maria Cristina Carlini. Purposes of place” is the new evocative solo exhibition by the sculptress; it is curated by Flaminio Gualdoni and is on display at MyOwnGalleryfrom 3 to 29 November.
On display, the visitor can admire several never seen before works next to some well-known sculptures made by using sandstone, wood and iron, as well as unique works on paper. They thoroughly define the artist’s work that is connected with her experimentation with different materials.
Maria Cristina Carlini’s way of expression originates from her love for the earth, nature, man and his history, and combines past and present through works that transcend time.
